Belton Picnic

Another installment of the Stephenson/McClymont picnic. This time we chose Belton House for our venue, and the Bank Holiday weather was just perfect. Not too hot, not too cold.
I spent most of yesterday making picnic food and my did we have a feast.

Dan befriended two geese (not surprising at all!) whilst we scoffed our mammoth lunch. Quiche, sausage rolls, potato salad, cheese and ham muffins, pesto pasta, crisps, cruditĆ©s and dips, salads and coleslaw followed by a delicious fridge cake. Yum.

 Meerkats...

We treated the boys to a little trip on the tiny little diesel train which runs along side the adventure playground. Louie was fascinated and the faces he was pulling were a picture!

Another beautiful day at this beautiful place, with a bunch of beautiful people too. What more can you ask for!
