Belton Picnic
Another installment of the Stephenson/McClymont picnic. This time we chose Belton House for our venue, and the Bank Holiday weather was just perfect. Not too hot, not too cold.
I spent most of yesterday making picnic food and my did we have a feast.
Dan befriended two geese (not surprising at all!) whilst we scoffed our mammoth lunch. Quiche, sausage rolls, potato salad, cheese and ham muffins, pesto pasta, crisps, crudités and dips, salads and coleslaw followed by a delicious fridge cake. Yum.
We treated the boys to a little trip on the tiny little diesel train which runs along side the adventure playground. Louie was fascinated and the faces he was pulling were a picture!
Another beautiful day at this beautiful place, with a bunch of beautiful people too. What more can you ask for!
