Trelissick

During our Cornish holiday, we decided to visit Trelissick, a beautiful House and Garden positioned on the River Fal. Inside the house, we learned that the house was purchased by the Copeland family after it was spotted from a boat sailing on the river. How splendid indeed.

I mean just look at that beautiful view!

So after a walk around the house and a spot of lunch, we spent a few hours exploring the gardens. There is so much to see from the more formal gardens to the leisurely walks through the dappled dell. We walked right down to watch the King Harry Ferry.

And even though we had hoped to have a little trip on a ferry (not the King Harry Ferry which we ended up using anyway!) we had a lovely time wandering the beautiful grounds.
