Benthall Hall

Following on from our trip to Sunnycroft, we had a glorious scenic drive across the Shropshire countryside to Benthall Hall. Little NTaddict was convinced we had been before, though I am certain he was thinking of Trerice! When we arrived, the rain was pouring, so naturally we found shelter in the gorgeous 16th century house.

It really is a wonderful house, rich in history and the upstairs of the house has a very modern feel. No photographs are allowed upstairs as the family has many portraits adorning the walls and they were a beauty to behold I assure you!

As we ventured outside, the sun decided to join us! We wandered lazily around the gorgeous gardens, taking in the stunning views and enjoying the beautiful spring flowers in the wooded areas.

It seems that Sunnycroft + Benthall Hall = A FANTASTIC day out!
